Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, coach staff, and deliver outstanding customer service. You’ll help drive sales, manage scheduling, training, and ensure a welcoming, inclusive environment.

In this role you will execute merchandising plans, oversee cash handling, open/close procedures, and support inventory accuracy while upholding Lids standards and policies. This position reports to the Store Manager and requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints.
• Lead store performance and coach team to meet KPIs.
• Administer the progressive steps of discipline and ensure policy adherence.
• Recruit and train store personnel and ensure policy compliance.
• Open/close the store and manage cash handling.
