Job summary

Walgreens in Sioux Falls is seeking a reliable team member to support store operations, customer experience, and leadership duties in the absence of store management. You will help open/close, handle cash, assist with vendor deliveries, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.

You will also engage customers, resolve questions, and model Walgreens service traits while coaching other team members on displays, pricing, inventory, and basic bookkeeping tasks.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year in leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder role.
• Must be fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Preferred knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including system start-ups and cash handling.
• Register all sales on assigned cash registers, including price verifications and voids.
• Assist with vendor deliveries and backdoor access for deliveries.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and display pricing and signage.
• Support housekeeping, stockroom organization, and basic bookkeeping activities.
