Job summary

At Home Group Inc. is seeking an Operations Lead (PT) to support store processes, drive a selling culture, and uphold company standards. You will handle opening, closing, training, and task delegation while maintaining safety and compliance in a warehouse-format store.

The role emphasizes teamwork, coaching, and daily operations, including freight, shelving, and end-cap maintenance. Candidates should be at least 18 with a HS diploma and be able to lift heavy items.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be completed.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Owns store opening/closing and Front-End processes with attention to safety and cleanliness.
• Coordinates with Assistant Store Manager to optimize staffing and labor standards.
• Plans and assigns daily/weekly zone workload to meet store goals and customer experience.
• Supports inventory control, loss prevention, safety, and customer experience to keep store profitable.
• Leads training, coaching, and performance reviews to improve productivity.
• Communicates and trains daily through team huddles to reinforce standards.
• Manages freight processing and merchandising tasks, including down stocking and end caps.
• Performs other duties as needed and maintains a flexible approach to business needs.
• Open availability during nights and weekends.
