Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Full-time availability required, flexibility in schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in maintaining a visually appealing store layout.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train sales associates in merchandise handling and presentation standards.
• Delegate and validate completion of daily tasks and supervise Leaders on duty.
• Execute merchandise strategies to optimize sales, including receiving, placement, displays, and promotions.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and analyze sales trends for stock decisions.
• Operate POS systems and handle cash transactions with accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain store standards and uphold policies, procedures, and ethics.
• Share responsibility for opening and closing procedures and monthly live cycle counts.
• Ensure pet care maintenance and healthy, safe pets and positive customer experiences.
