PetSmart, Inc. is seeking a Retail Operations Lead in a fast‑paced store environment. The role drives merchandising and inventory management, ensures pet care operations, and oversees associates to uphold our brand promise.

You will lead store processes, support open/close duties, and maintain a safe, organized shopping space while promoting a culture of service excellence to pet parents.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail supervisory experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency in computer applications (POS, Excel, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide sales associates in merchandise handling and training.
• Delegate daily tasks and act as Leader on Duty.
• Manage store inventory, audits, and stock replenishment decisions.
• Operate POS systems and handle cash in line with policies.
• Maintain store standards and uphold Policies, Procedures, and Code of Ethics.
• Share responsibility for opening and closing procedures and live cycle counts.
