Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisor/management experience in a retail environment (thrift experience preferred).
• Valid Driver’s license and pass MVR check with proof of insurance.
• Must pass background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, store employees, customers, and donors.

Responsibilities

• Plans and directs the day-to-day operations of assigned store locations.
• Develops strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability.
• Ensures Customer/Donor needs are met and maintains good relations.
• Schedule Store Employees to ensure appropriate coverage and hold team meetings.
• Supervise employees and ensure compliance with directives and guidelines.
• Hiring, training, and performance evaluations for staff.
• Ensure store meets ARC standards and maintains inventory levels.
• Implement loss prevention measures and ensure safe cash handling.
• Attend district meetings and communicate new policies to staff.
