Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking a Store Manager in Culver City to lead day-to-day retail operations, drive sales, and manage staff to deliver excellent service and organized stores. You will ensure implementation of ARC standards and oversee donations, inventory, and customer relations.

This full-time role requires supervising a team, planning schedules, training employees, and maintaining compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. (some college preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisor/management experience in a retail environment (thrift experience preferred).
• Basic understanding of office applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Valid Driver’s license, successfully pass a MVR check (required), proof of insurance and access to a motor vehicle.
• Must pass background check, which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, store employees, customers, and donors.

Responsibilities

• Plans and directs the day‑to‑day operations of assigned store location.
• Hire, train and direct the store team to ensure proficiency of processes and development.
• Schedule employees to ensure appropriate coverage and maintain payroll records.
• Ensure high levels of Customer and Donor satisfaction and community relations.
• Manage inventory, back room processing, and donation standards according to ARC requirements.
