Job summary

Goodwill Omaha seeks a Lead Retail Store Generalist in Elkhorn. This full-time role supports store management, trains staff, and drives performance and safety standards. You will greet customers and donors, handle deposits, and supervise on-duty coverage.

Key responsibilities include inventory control, operating the POS system, and maintaining a safe, productive store environment. Prior supervisory experience and CPR/First Aid are preferred, with strong teamwork and communication skills

Qualifications

GED or High School Diploma required.
Three months retail experience required.
Previous supervisory or team leader experience preferred; to include scheduling, goal setting, task delegation, etc.
CPR First Aid Certification preferred

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers and donors in a courteous, professional manner and issue receipts as needed.
Open/close store as required following procedures.
Act as Manager on Duty as necessary.
Complete daily breakdown audit, store bank deposit, and reconciling cash drawers.
Oversee inventory control in new goods, soft lines and hard lines.
Maintain daily production log on donations and productivity.
Maintain a safe, clean, organized store and work environment.
Support all mission-related programs in the retail stores.
