Job summary

ALDI USA in Tarpon Springs, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to supervise daily store activities, develop schedules, and execute operational plans to drive performance. You will identify training opportunities to grow the team and uphold ALDI standards of service and efficiency.

The role offers full-time hours, starting wage of $26.00 per hour with a wage increase to $27.00 in Year 2, and opportunities to contribute to store payroll and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role at ALDI.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training opportunities to develop direct reports.
• Model ALDI core values to foster teamwork and membership among employees.
• Monitor competitive environment and advise adjustments to maintain ALDI position.
• Provide product feedback to leadership on items to carry or discontinue.
• Participate in interviewing store personnel.
• Ensure adherence to inventory, product handling, and cash control policies.
