Responsibilities

• Assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to their direct reports to ensure mutual understanding and desired results
• Identifies training and development opportunities that will assist their direct reports in achieving enhanced performance
• Understands the overarching company strategy and models core values to create teamwork
• Monitors the competitive environment and informs adjustments to maintain competitive position
• Provides product feedback and makes recommendations regarding items to carry or discontinue
• Participates in interviewing store personnel
• Communicates information including weekly milestones and concerns
• Ensures inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies to minimize losses
• Maintains store cleanliness standards and proper store signage
• Maintains proper stock levels through appropriate product ordering
• Merchandises products to maximize sales
• Ensures quality and freshness of products and accurate signage
• supervises payroll, loss budget, inventory counts, and training
• Escalates issues to appropriate leadership when necessary
• Ensures direct reports complete responsibilities timely to provide excellent customer service
