Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee day-to-day store activities, supervise the team, manage schedules, and develop operational action plans. You will help drive store performance, implement training opportunities, and ensure consistent customer service aligned with ALDI standards.

The role is full-time with an average of 38 hours per week, starting at $26.00 per hour with a wage increase to $27.00 in Year 2. Benefits and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• State/local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages must be met.

Responsibilities

• Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training and development opportunities for direct reports.
• Maintain store cleanliness and proper signage; manage inventory and stock levels.
• Assist with payroll, loss prevention, and budget adherence.
• Supervise day-to-day store operations and escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure customer service meets company standards.
