Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, supervise team activities, and drive performance. The role includes creating action plans, coaching staff, and ensuring inventory and loss controls align with company standards.

The position is full-time with average 38 hours per week and a starting wage of $26.50 per hour, increasing to $27.50 after Year 1. Benefits and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a cash register accurately.
• Meets any state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervising day-to-day store activities and overall store performance.
• Develop operational action plans and training opportunities for the team.
• Maintain store cleanliness, signage, and inventory procedures.
• Assist with scheduling, payroll, and budget goals.
• Participate in interviewing store personnel and relaying information to the team.
