Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, drive sales, control expenses, and uphold ALDI values. You will report to the store manager and lead teams to achieve KPIs while maintaining customer service excellence.

The role includes overseeing staff development, executing action plans, and ensuring compliance with policies. Starting wage is $26.50 per hour with a planned increase to $27.50 in Year 2, based on a 38-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel within 30 miles as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resolution of employee and customer concerns, in partnership with the store manager.
• Lead and develop store personnel, setting performance expectations and providing coaching.
• Assist with action plans to improve operating results and personnel development.
• Train and develop staff using company materials and standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and cash handling protocols.
• Stock shelves and operate POS to process purchases and support curbside pickup.
