Safeway within the Northern California market seeks a Third Person in Charge to oversee store operations when the Store Director and ASD are away. This role forms part of a leadership development track with responsibilities spanning customer service, training, hiring coordination, and merchandising execution.

The successful candidate will close shifts, supervise staff, handle customer issues, and collaborate with the ASD and Store Director to drive store performance.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum four years of retail experience.
• Retail grocery experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee total store operations during absence of SD/ASD.
• Train new employees and coordinate hiring needs.
• Assist with merchandising and pricing, including displays.
• Close shifts and supervise late shift operations.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure service standards.
