Job summary

You will help with scheduling, training, and implementing action plans to improve results, while upholding company standards and customer service excellence.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Meets state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

• Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to their direct reports.
• Identifies training and development opportunities for direct reports.
• Communicates company strategy and core values to create teamwork.
• Monitors competitive environment and informs adjustments to maintain position.
• Provides product feedback and makes recommendations on items to carry or discontinue.
• Participates in store personnel interviews.
• Ensures adherence to inventory procedures and cash control policies.
• Resolve customer concerns in the absence of the direct leader.
• Maintain safe conditions and equipment.
• Maintain store cleanliness and signage.
• Assist with stock levels and merchandising.
• Ensure product quality and signage accuracy.
• Assist with payroll, loss prevention, and training.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues.
