Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Associate to open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash and basic backroom operations, and ensure shelves and back stock are ready for business. You will greet customers, assist with product questions, and process returns and transactions with accuracy.

You will also support merchandising, pricing, and store cleanliness while adhering to store policies and safety regulations to deliver a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Arrest/conviction records may be considered in accordance with policy.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, refunds, cash drops, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers, greets and assists with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and supports pricing and display updates.
• Assists with merchandising, cleanliness, and adherence to store policies and safety regulations.
