Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Operations Associate to help open and close the store when management is not available, handle cash procedures, and ensure the floor and stockroom are ready for the business day.

You will assist with returns, refunds, and cash drops, while providing excellent customer service and supporting merchandising, pricing, and stock control. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or key holder experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Preferred knowledge of store inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including all systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Complete product returns, order voids, refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested at registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engage customers by greeting and assisting with products and services; resolve issues for a positive experience.
• Assist with store operations, including cash registers, pricing, and basic bookkeeping as needed.
• Assist with merchandising, displays, and stock counts; ensure proper signage and pricing according to policy.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organize stockroom areas, and support vendor deliveries when needed.
• Serve as a liaison between management and team members when management is not present.
