Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Oklahoma is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily operations of donated merchandise and drive customer service excellence. You will supervise shift leaders and store associates, hire and train staff, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with agency policies and safety standards.

The role requires 21+ years, a valid Oklahoma driver’s license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, preferred.
• 3+ years in a supervisory role of 12+ employees in retail/manufacturing/food services.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and proof of insurance.
• Must pass MVR check and maintain good driving record.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of donated merchandise in line with policy and budget.
• Hire, train, evaluate, motivate, and supervise store personnel to meet standards.
• Open and close cash registers, count cash, balance drawers.
• Greet, assist, and provide excellent customer service to donors/customers.
• Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, signage, and displays.
