ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Medina, NY to supervise day-to-day store activities and support overall performance. You’ll help manage schedules and develop operational action plans while training team members to grow their skills.

The role requires leadership, strong customer service, and attention to detail. Starting wage is $27.50 per hour with a planned wage increase to $28.50 per hour in Year 2; typical full-time hours are around 38 per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in a retail environment with progressive responsibility.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist director with developing and implementing action plans to improve store results.
• Communicate roles, responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training opportunities to boost team performance.
• Support store strategy and core values to foster teamwork.
• Monitor market conditions and adjust plans to maintain competitiveness.
• Provide product feedback and help decide on items to carry or discontinue.
• Participate in interviewing store personnel and staff development.
• Ensure inventory procedures, product handling, and cash controls are followed.
• Resolve customer concerns in the absence of direct leadership.
