Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and support opening/closing procedures.

Responsibilities include payroll records, scheduling, and loss prevention while ensuring store standards and safety. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (preferred) and proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas and ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll and scheduling records, and loss prevention.
