Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and ensure seasonal areas are well maintained.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and experience in a fast-paced retail environment. You will support opening/closing procedures and supervise Store Associates to deliver

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize, transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
