Job summary

Five Below Inc. is seeking a capable leader to oversee store operations as an hourly Crew Manager in Sparta, TN. You will guide a team, ensure top-notch customer service, and manage day-to-day tasks to keep the store running smoothly.

You will train staff, supervise cash handling and opening/closing duties, and collaborate with the leadership team on merchandising and cost control. The role emphasizes flexibility and strong communication with customers and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform all essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring a fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure they perform duties effectively.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff, and customer issues.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, ensure smooth daily operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures to improve performance.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
