Job summary

Five Below is seeking a store leadership-focused role in Johnson City, TN. You will train crew on top-tier customer experience, supervise daily activities, and help manage merchandising and operations to ensure fast, friendly service.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic retail environment. This hourly position starts at $16.50 and offers weekend and varied shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers and training the crew on the BEST customer service experience
• Oversee daily activities of store associates to ensure performance and service
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the floor
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff, and customer issues
• Open/close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, prepare for daily operation
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies and product knowledge
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and service
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and recovery processes
• Perform store maintenance such as cleaning and stock room upkeep
