Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Team Lead to supervise day-to-day store operations, ensuring 100% policy compliance and delivering strong sales and service results. The role provides leadership and training to staff under the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, stepping in as needed.

This position supports full or part-time schedules, with focus on safety, service quality, and operational excellence across store functions including POS, inventory, merchandising and payroll.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and welfare of employees and customers.
• Create and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience with current service standards.
• Manage POS transactions in line with policy and procedures.

• Lead merchandising, visual presentation, promotions, and signage.
• Oversee scheduling, payroll and attendance for staff.
• Train and develop direct reports and reinforce customer service standards.
• Support loss prevention and protect company assets.
• Develop understanding to manage day-to-day store operations.
