Job summary

Five Below is seeking an energetic hourly Manager on Duty in Colorado Springs to lead daily store operations, engage customers, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will train crew, oversee opening and closing, manage stock, and partner with store leadership to drive sales while controlling expenses.

A high school diploma and at least one year of retail management are preferred. This role offers starting pay at $16.37 per hour with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures crew members provide WOW customer service with personal contact.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience for fast, friendly check out.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates ensuring duties are performed and service is excellent.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking and organizing stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff, and customer issues.
• Manages opening/closing procedures including cash, doors, alarms, and daily readiness.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Partners with store leadership in merchandising procedures and recovery processes.
• Performs maintenance tasks such as cleaning, stock room upkeep, and general store upkeep.
