Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a team member to support store operations and customer service. You will assist with opening/closing, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.

You will engage customers, resolve questions, and deliver Walgreens service traits to create a distinctive experience, while supporting inventory and pricing tasks and handling vendor deliveries as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy licence as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including cash handling and ensuring floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Completes cash handling tasks: returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive customer experience.
• Engages customers, answers questions, and assists with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Helps manage inventory, pricing, display resets, and basic department pricing with proper signage.
