Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a team member to support daily store operations, customer service, and inventory control. You will assist with opening/closing the store when management is unavailable, handle cash tasks, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for business.

You will engage customers, resolve questions, and contribute to a distinctive customer experience while supporting pricing, displays, and backroom processes as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including cash handling and ensuring readiness for the business day.
• Completes product returns, refunds, and cash drops; provides change as requested to registers.
• Delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Greets customers and assists with products and services; resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains accurate inventory and pricing, supports displays and basic store maintenance, and handles backroom operations.
