Job summary

Five Below is seeking a store leadership associate in Tinley Park, IL, for an hourly role. You will supervise crew, ensure top-notch customer service, and assist with stock, merchandising, and store operations.

The position requires at least 1 year of management experience and strong communication. You will help train associates, manage opening/closing, and support daily store activities to boost sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew wow the customer with fast, friendly checkout and train on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates to ensure performance and service quality.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for fast placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, and urgent issues.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, and prepare for daily operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with the store leadership team on merchandising procedures and recovery.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning and stock room upkeep.
