Job summary

Five Below is hiring a Store Manager on a hourly schedule in our Illinois location. The role oversees stock, displays, and daily store operations, guiding associates to deliver outstanding customer service.

You will lead opening/closing procedures, manage on-duty coverage, and drive sales while controlling expenses. The position requires strong communication, multitasking, and composure under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick floor placement.
• Set up and maintain displays, ensure signage and promos follow guidelines.
• Manage opening/closing tasks, secure cash, doors, and alarms for daily operations.
• Act as Manager on Duty, accountable for store operations, staff, and service.
• Supervise daily activities of store associates and ensure customer service quality.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training on policies, product knowledge, procedures.
• Drive sales and control costs by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Execute the market plan with proper product placement and updated promotional materials; uphold Inventory Integrity.
