Job summary

Five Below in Bloomington, IL is seeking an experienced store leader to supervise crew, drive sales, and ensure outstanding guest experiences. You will oversee daily operations, train associates, and maintain a welcoming, efficient store environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of management, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask across merchandising, loss prevention, and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent; college experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, think creatively, and stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are WOWing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and maintains high service standards.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for rapid placement on the floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations, staff management, and urgent issues.
• Manages opening/closing, cash security, doors, alarms, and daily operations.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training to improve policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising and performance.
