Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist with supervision, merchandising, deposits, and cashiering while supporting profitability and asset protection.

You will lead service leadership, scheduling, training, and safety meetings, ensuring planograms and inventory controls are followed and bank deposits are completed accurately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year retail experience and six months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service leadership; greet customers and operate cash register.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling and training employees.
• Manage merchandise through receiving, stocking, and displays.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and reduce losses.
• Support planogram implementation as directed.
