Job summary

Five Below is hiring an hourly store team member in California who will deliver a WOW customer experience and support daily operations. The role requires leadership presence, effective communication, and a hands-on approach to merchandising and stock management.

You will assist with opening/closing, cash handling, and supervising associates, while driving sales and controlling expenses. Training and development are provided to help you grow within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Wowed customers through personal contact and friendly service.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep sales floor fresh and organized.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, handling store operations and staff issues.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, set alarms, and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Support onboarding and training to improve performance and knowledge.
