Job summary

Five Below in North Charleston, SC is seeking an hourly Crew Leader/Store Associate who wows customers with friendly service, oversees daily store activities, helps stock and merchandise, and serves as Manager on Duty when needed.

Applicants should be a high school graduate with at least 1 year of management experience, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; weekend availability included.

Responsibilities

• Wow the customer with personal contact and a fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking and organizing new stock for the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, handling store operations and staff.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors and set alarms.
• Support onboarding and training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Coordinate with store leadership on merchandising and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning and stock room upkeep.
