Job summary

Five Below is seeking an hourly Crew Leader to deliver outstanding customer service, train team members, and oversee daily store operations in Charleston, SC. You will manage opening/closing, assist with stock, and support onboarding while ensuring a safe, welcoming shopping environment.

The role requires at least a high school diploma with 1 year of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends. Benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal, friendly service at the register and floor.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience for fast, friendly checkouts.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures high-quality service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep shelves organized.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations and staff issues.
• Manages opening/closing routines: cash handling, door security, alarms, and setup.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of new associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives sales and controls expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Partners with leadership on merchandising procedures and store initiatives.
• Performs store maintenance activities like cleaning, stocking, and upkeep.
