Five Below in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking an energetic hourly Store Manager on Duty to lead crew, manage daily operations, and ensure a WOW customer experience. You will train staff, assist with stock, and help drive sales while controlling costs.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and potential overnight shifts. Starting pay is competitive and reflects local market rates.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers and trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates to ensure duties are performed effectively and customer service is excellent.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, and customer service.
• Manage opening/closing processes including cash security, doors, alarms, and daily readiness.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance tasks including cleaning and stock room upkeep.
