Job summary

Chico's FAS, Inc. seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the store manager in sales, operations, asset protection and HR, ensuring a great customer experience and profitability. You will schedule, supervise staff, handle cash, and oversee inventory while upholding company policies and visual standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel to stores throughout the district.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepares weekly schedules and reviews payroll documentation.
• Promotes customer service and responds to inquiries professionally.
• Supervises sales, inventory receipt, cash handling, and customer services.
• Maintains store appearance and trains on visual merchandising.
• Monitors sales activity and motivates staff to hit targets.
• Performs cash handling and policy-compliant register transactions.
• Oversees inventory, replenishment, and physical inventories.
• Supports recruiting, training, and coaching of associates.
