Job summary

Family Dollar in Charleston, MS is seeking a part-time associate to provide exceptional customer service, assist with merchandise, and process sales transactions. You will help keep the store clean, stocked, and organized, supporting the Store Manager with daily activities and maintaining accurate inventory.

The role requires flexible availability, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and prior retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with merchandise selection and location.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Unload merchandise from delivery truck and stock shelves.
• Open or close the store in absence of management.
• Maintain store cleanliness and inventory levels.
