Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a part-time team member to provide excellent customer service, assist with merchandise selection, and ensure smooth store operations in Leakesville, MS. You will help with opening/closing duties when needed, maintain stock levels, manage deliveries, and process transactions using the POS system.

The role requires flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends and holidays, with the physical capability to lift up to 40–55 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education preferred.
• Retail or grocery management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40–55 lbs and frequent walking, standing, bending.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection and sales.
• Assist Store Manager with daily activities and store operations.
• Open/close duties in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• Maintain inventory and stock shelves; support deliveries and replenishment.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Ensure store cleanliness and appearance and protect assets.
