Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Mississippi LLC is seeking a part-time associate to provide exceptional customer service, greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, and complete sales at the register.

You will support store operations, help the Store Manager, maintain inventory and cleanliness, and assist with unloading deliveries and stocking shelves. This role requires flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• Availability to work flexible days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. (occasionally 55 lbs.) with or without accommodation.
• Reading and explaining operational directives to others.
• Retail or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with merchandise selection and location.
• Handle transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Support store operations, inventory, deliveries, and replenishment.
• Open or close the store in the absence of managers and maintain store conditions.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and provide excellent customer service.
