Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Bel Air, MD. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise flows smoothly from delivery to sales floor.

You will participate in opening and closing tasks, help with scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention, and mentor Store Associates to maintain a clean, safe, and friendly shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required.
• Store management experience preferred in retail, grocery, or drug store.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong customer service and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits; support loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and presentable store areas.
