Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Maintain store areas and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Assist in supervising, training, and developing store associates
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff
