Safeway seeks a Third Person in Charge to oversee store operations during closing shifts and to act in the absence of the Store Director and Assistant Store Director. You will supervise employees, address customer concerns, and coordinate day-to-day activities with late shift teams.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage merchandising, stock, and safety programs while ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum four years of retail experience.
• Retail grocery experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage total store operations during closing shifts.
• Fill in for Store Director and ASD when needed.
• Handle customer complaints and supervise employees.
• Coordinate merchandising and stock with late shift staff.
• Train Head Clerks and PICs for promotions.
• Ensure safety culture and hiring processes.
