Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to act as a front-line brand ambassador, delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring regulatory excellence across our store network.

The role emphasizes educating customers on product options, processing complex transactions, and maintaining accurate cash handling and compliance with company policies. Strong communication and multitasking abilities are essential to succeed in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment.
• Must have own reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with appropriate auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio and options that meet their needs.
• Escalate issues to the store manager, District Director of Operations, or corporate office as needed.
• Answer telephone inquiries and respond to general questions or applications.
• Perform outbound sales and courtesy calls in accordance with regulations and store procedures.
• Handle and count currency, cash deposits, and related cash drawer responsibilities.
• Balance batch receipts with sales reports and resolve over/short discrepancies.
• Process all transactions accurately per company policy, including loans, check cashing, and Net Spend.
• Complete required compliance trainings and adhere to federal/state regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
