Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Eau Claire, WI to serve as a front-line brand ambassador for Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store. You will ensure outstanding customer service and regulatory compliance while handling cash operations.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and transportation. A high school diploma and 1+ year in sales or cash handling are preferred, with opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year(s) of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment.
• Must have own personal reliable transportation and valid Driver's License with insurance.
• Ability and willingness to live and embrace core values: accountable, inclusive, transparent, focused.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting all options for products and/or services to meet their needs.
• Escalate issues to the store manager, District Director of Operations, and corporate office if unable to resolve the issue.
• Answer telephone inquiries in response to general questions, customer applications, or other issues.
• Perform outbound customer sales, courtesy, and collection calls in accordance with regulations and procedures.
• Respond professionally and accurately to customers, explaining possible solutions and ensuring customers feel supported and valued.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm or clarify information and diffuse complaints.
• Handle and count currency, cash, and coins; manage cash drawer and deposits; bank pickups as needed.
• Balance batch receipts with store sales reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform customer verifications and process transactions per policy (loans, check cashing, Net Spend).
• Comply with federal and state regulations and company policies; complete required trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
