Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager on Duty-style role in our Saint Petersburg, FL location. You will oversee daily store operations, supervise associates, and ensure outstanding customer service while managing opening/closing duties and security procedures.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment. Evening/weekend shifts and occasional overnight work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register frequently.
• Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and stock up to 5–10 ft high.
• Ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and stock inventory.
• Kneel, bend, twist, and stoop as needed in stock room and sales floor.
• Communicate with customers, managers, and coworkers.
• Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and possibly overnight shifts.
• Identify and follow instructions on merchandising layouts and schedules.
• Remain in a stationary position for 80% of the time.
• Must be 18+ and comply with laws.
