Job summary

Global Partners LP in Massachusetts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the general manager in day-to-day operations, uphold cash handling, inventory control, and safety standards while delivering guest service.

The ASM will supervise hourly staff, train, discipline as needed, and assist with banking, payroll, and promotional initiatives; flexibility for shifts including nights, weekends, or holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
• Vocational or Technical Education High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Supervise, develop, train and discipline hourly employees, upholding operational standards.
• Monitor shift cash handling and inventory.
• Assist in investigations of shortages/overages and inventory variances.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative duties.
• Maintain store safety, sanitation and cleanliness; ensure policies are followed.
