Job summary

Smoothie King is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in delivering an exceptional guest experience while upholding brand standards. You will help lead a team, manage store operations, and ensure compliance with food safety guidelines to provide high-quality smoothies and healthy products to the community.

The AGM will monitor KPIs, assist with staff development and scheduling, and help execute local marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
2+ years’ experience in a restaurant or retail customer service role.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to operate POS and computer systems.
Excellent interpersonal and community engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

Assist the General Manager with hiring, developing, and leading the team to provide a great guest experience.
Use store tools and data to achieve operational excellence (P&L, DBR, cash logs, scheduling/inventory).
Assist in developing local store marketing plans and community outreach.
Collaborate with GM to deliver smoothies and healthy products while reviewing KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
Manage cash activities, deposits, and daily financial handling.
Ensure food safety compliance for all team members at all times.
Champion Smoothie King culture, mission, and core values.
Maintain store cleanliness and schedule equipment upkeep and safety checks.
Drive company programs through action planning and team motivation.
Communicate marketing strategies and promotions to the team for proper execution.
