Job summary

Smoothie King is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Colleyville, TX to support the General Manager in leading the store team and delivering an exceptional guest experience while upholding brand standards.

You will oversee store operations, cash handling, staff development, and compliance with food safety guidelines, while driving local marketing efforts and ensuring the highest store cleanliness and equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of shift lead experience in a restaurant or retail setting.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic POS operations.
• Food handler Certification.
• Ability to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in hiring, developing, and leading the team to deliver great guest experiences.
• Use tools like P&L, Daily Business Review, Cash & Deposit Log, and Data Central scheduling and inventory systems to drive operational excellence.
• Develop local store marketing plans and community outreach to support brand initiatives.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to maintain best products and store standards, reviewing KPIs for improvement.
• Manage cash deposits and ensure food safety compliance at all times.
• Inspire teams to meet operational standards and effectively communicate marketing strategies to staff.
