Job summary

Five Below in Nashville, TN is seeking a Store Manager on Duty to lead daily store operations and ensure a WOW customer experience. You will supervise crew, coordinate stocking, and partner with the store leadership team to support sales goals.

This hourly role requires at least a high school degree, about 1 year of management experience, and strong communication. The position offers a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, starting at $13.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Wowing the Customer through personal contact and a fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates to ensure excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep shelves ready for sale.
• Act as Manager on Duty and assume store operations and staff management responsibilities.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, and ensure a smooth daily operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and recovery efforts.
• Perform store maintenance activities and keep the stockroom organized.
