Job summary

Five Below in Lawrenceville, NJ is seeking capable candidates for a store leadership role, with responsibilities including training crew, overseeing daily operations, and delivering the high-energy, fast checkout experience our customers expect. You will lead by example and support the team to meet sales and service goals.

As part of the store leadership team, you will open/close the store, manage schedules, drive sales, and ensure compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Proven ability to lead and train staff in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to multi-task and remain composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and friendly service.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience and checkout efficiency.
• Oversees daily store activities, ensuring staff performance and service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to the floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty and handles store operations and staff.
• Opens/closes store, secures cash, and ensures smooth daily operations.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives sales and controls expenses through merchandising and service.
